Maarten is a senior mar­ket­ing and adver­tis­ing pro­fes­sional with over a decade of expe­ri­ence in build­ing global brands and devel­op­ing inte­grated cam­paigns. He has led the brand strat­egy for For­tune 500 orga­ni­za­tions and held sev­eral inter­na­tional mar­ket­ing posi­tions in the US and Europe. Born and edu­cated in The Nether­lands, Maarten is flu­ent in Eng­lish, Dutch, Ger­man and Span­ish. His inter­na­tional work expe­ri­ence spans mar­kets in North & South Amer­ica, Europe, Asia and the for­mer Soviet Union.

Maarten founded Branded Trans­la­tions to com­bine his inter­na­tional mar­ket­ing exper­tise with his pas­sion for lan­guages.  Hav­ing local­ized many branded com­mu­ni­ca­tions, he found that very few lan­guage ser­vice providers spe­cial­ize in mar­ket­ing & adver­tis­ing con­tent (vir­tu­ally none that offer it exclu­sively).  His goal is to fill this void by deliv­er­ing qual­ity trans­la­tions of cre­ative con­tent where the local­ized ver­sion is as effec­tive as the original.

Resourc­ing & operations

Anna is an accom­plished HR pro­fes­sional with expe­ri­ence in vir­tu­ally every aspect of run­ning an effec­tive per­son­nel depart­ment. She has worked across many indus­tries for both start-up and For­tune 500 organizations. Her spe­cialty is sourc­ing, recruit­ing and man­ag­ing talent. Anna per­son­ally screens, tests and works with every lin­guist before they are placed on assign­ment.  It is her resource­ful­ness and atten­tion to detail that allow us to pro­vide the high­est level of qual­ity. Anna has lived in the US, Arme­nia and Spain and speaks 3 languages.

Michiel Krohne

Art Direc­tor

Since earn­ing his degree from Art Cen­ter Col­lege of Design, Michiel has been an art direc­tor at var­i­ous adver­tis­ing agen­cies includ­ing Wieden+Kennedy, in Ams­ter­dam, and Lord, Dentsu & Part­ners, Lambe­sis, and Arnold Ingalls Moranville in Cal­i­for­nia. Thanks to hav­ing worked on inter­na­tional cam­paigns for clients such as Nike, Best West­ern, Air­walk and Log­itech, he under­stands the chal­lenges of adapt­ing pieces of com­mu­ni­ca­tion to dif­fer­ent lan­guages and cul­tures. His tal­ents extend to cre­at­ing work in print, broad­cast, online and other media.
Michiel was born in Bel­gium and has also lived in Switzer­land, the Nether­lands and the United States. He speaks Dutch, Eng­lish and French.
